Claire E. Throckmorton

Claire E. Throckmorton is a native of Western Pennsylvania, growing up in Waynesburg, PA in Greene County. She is a 2011 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. After college, Claire returned to Western Pennsylvania to attend law school at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in May 2015.

While in law school, Claire served as an editor for the Pittsburgh Tax Review. Throughout law school, she worked for the University of Pittsburgh Immigration Law Clinic and the legal department at Education Management Corporation, gaining practical experience in contracts and corporate law. In 2013, Claire was an intern for the Women's Law Project in Pittsburgh, working on complicated employment and gender discrimination issues, and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing and the PLISF (Pitt Legal Income Sharing Foundation) Scholarship. In 2014, Claire also received the Allegheny County Bar Association's Lawyers Fund Fellowship.

Claire was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October of 2015. Upon admittance, she began working as an associate with TKG&K, where she currently focuses on employment law litigation. Claire is a member of the Westmoreland County Bar association and is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts.
